Much of what we use in the Castle Restaurant is grown in our own Organic Garden.
In our garden we grow vegetables and fruit according to organic production guidelines.
Local varieties have priority here since they are more resilient and better adapted to our climate, but also as we want to show our guest how diverse and full of flavour the local food is.

The Organic Garden is located in unspoilt nature in the vicinity of Hotel Sport, not far from Otočec Castle. The produce is used by the chefs of the Otočec Castle restaurant to prepare delicious dishes, including local specialities.

Flowers and herbs grow among vegetables to repel pests or to attract beneficial insects that kill them. This means that we do not need to use any chemicals to protect the plants.
