The Michelin Group, known for its ⭐ stars awarded to top restaurants, has for the second consecutive year granted a special recognition to outstanding hotels — the Michelin Key. 🗝️
For the first time, Slovenian hotels are among the recipients, marking a significant acknowledgment of Slovenian hospitality, quality, and sustainable orientation.
Out of more than 7,000 hotels worldwide that have met the rigorous standards of Michelin inspectors, 143 have been awarded three keys, 572 two keys, and 1,742 one key — including our HOTEL GRAD OTOČEC
The key criteria used by Michelin inspectors in their evaluations are:
✔ excellence in architecture and interior design
✔ quality and consistency of service
✔ personality and character
✔ value for money
✔ the hotel’s contribution to its surroundings and the local environment
