The wedding ceremony can be held outdoors, in the mighty castle courtyard, within the medieval walls, or in the privacy of a knight's lounge. Weddings at Otočec Castle are performed by a team of registrars from the Novo mesto Administrative Unit.
You can choose to have a ceremony with a reception or just catering. We can also arrange a wedding lunch or dinner in the castle restaurant, where your celebration will take place in an intimate atmosphere.
The basic ceremony is held in the beautiful surroundings of the romantic Otočec Castle – it can take place outdoors or in the Knight's Lounge.
You can wish for anything for your wedding day, and we will do our best to make it happen. You can complement the ceremony with a band, a limousine, balloons, doves, fireworks or suggest something else. Popular services often chosen by newlyweds:
- Musical accompaniment with violins, fanfares or zithers,
- A marriage certificate from the castle print shop, on handmade paper, with a seal,
- Releasing balloons or two white doves symbolising peace and love,
